The aeronautical charts included in the AlP are kept up to date by amendments
to the AlP. Information concerning the planning for or issuance of new maps and
charts is notified by Aeronautical information Circular or" AlP SUP" as
appropriate.
If incorrect information detected on published charts is of operational
significance, it is corrected by NOTAM.
- Purchase arrangements
The charts as listed in AlP under GEN 3.2-2
item 4. May be obtained from the above mentioned
address.
- Aerodrome obstacle chart together with
approach and aerodrome charts are free of
charge when they are part of the AlP. In
case of requesting them separately, they
are chargeable (See GEN 3.2-5 item 5).
- Aeronautical charts series available
The following series of aeronautical charts
are produced
a) W.A.C ICAO 1: 1000 000;
b) Aerodrome Chart-ICAO;
c) Aircraft Parking / Docking Chart-ICAO;
d) Aerodrome Obstacle Chart-ICAO Type A(for each runway);
e) Instrument Approach Chart-ICAO(For each runway and procedure type);
f) En-Route Chart-ICAO;
g) Standard departure
chart- instrument (SID) -ICAO.(Conventional &RNAV)
h) Standard arrival chart- instrument (STAR) -ICAO.(Conventional &RNAV)
The general department has a very high qualified staff and the ability to design
or produce all required aeronautical chart for other states through a contract
with NANSC
All AIS Personnel are well trained and highly qualified. The receive ICAO courses
and on-jab-training.
