--NANSC made the replacement of 3 stations NAV AIDS (VOR/DME)in
Cairo airport ,Aswan airport and Hurghada airport according to
the international regulation for aviation movement and to increase
the safety parameters.
--Replacement of two old ILS at Cairo Airport ,in addition the
installation of a new ILS at Assyut Airport to ensure flight safety
at those airports.
Signing a big contract with GSI to stablish the socend Satellite
Network stations that provide improvment of communictions systems
between airtraffic controllers and aircrafts in Cairo FIR,and
between Egyptian airports each others.Also to improve the traffic
flow in FIR.
--Automatic alarm and fire
fighting systems at different company locations have been replaced
with new systems.
--A new administrative building was constructed ,just next to
Cairo Air Navigation Center (CANC). the building comprises of
offices for chairman,the deputy and the departmrnts under thier
direct responsipelity ,Finance &Administrative Sectors,Conferance
room .In separete section the Office of Eruo -MED coopration for
Galliluo systems .In this building NANSC using the most recent
communication technology , we established IP network system .
--A new compound for company staff in borg el arab city .
--In the cooperation between
Arab countries under the umbrella of ACAC ( ARABIC CIVIL AVIATION
COMMISSION )meeting about CNS – ATM IMPLEMENTATION
IN ARABIAN AIR SPACE on 4th and 5th
December 2005 in At JEDDAH IN COOPERATION WITH SOFREAVIA, FRANCE
HOSTED BY GENERAL AUTHORITY OF CIVIL AVIATION ,KINGDOM OF SAUDI
ARABIA , NANSC team held this meeting with Egyptian aviation
authority .
--WX SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL USER
GROUP MEETING 2006, CAIRO, EGYPT .At the last European User Group
Meeting held in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 24th October 2005,
it was agreed that the next International User Group Meeting
would take place in Cairo, Egypt on March 13th-17th 2006. The
Meeting will also combine with a two day Training Update to
reflect new tendencies in Air Navigation; two practical Workshops
on Aeronautical Geodesy and ICAO Software Validation; as well
as formal visits to the National Air Navigation Services Company,
and the ICAO Regional Office |
